Breakfast at Orford Sanda House 

We are a traditional B&B offering our guests a wonderful breakfast in the mornings after a restful sleep. We use our own produce grown on the property, supplemented wherever possible, with local or Tasmanian produce and products

Our breakfast includes a full ‘Continental” with a choice of several hot cooked “Daily Specials” served to the table with tea and/or coffee in line with COVID protocols

Both the ‘Continental” and “Cooked Menu” items are included in your room rate.

The Continental Breakfast includes:

  • ‘Bottomless’ “Oomph” plunger coffee and/or loose leaf tea in a pot
  • Seasonal fresh fruit salad (made daily)
  • Fresh fruit juice
  • Tasmanian ‘Greek style” yoghurt
  • Homemade seasonal coulis made with fruit from our orchard when available
  • Homemade multi-grain bread – fresh or toasted
  • Tasmanian Granola & ‘gluten free’ muesli
  • Fresh milk (other options available upon request prior to checking in)
  • Homemade jams from our orchard

The Cooked Breakfast items include:

  • Baked Frittata¬†(vegetarian option available)
  • Spanish Beans with Baked egg (vegetarian & gluten free)
  • Toasted Croissant served with shaved leg ham, cheese & Dijon mustard
  • Fried or Scrambled Eggs on Homemade Toast

Guests can enjoy this healthy breakfast at the ‘communal’ table in the Dining Room in front of the wood burning fire (depending on season and weather) and share travel stories with other guests
