The Rose Room, which was the original kitchen has a King bed, and wood fire that can be lit in the cooler months. The large open fireplace and bread oven are still there as are the original stone floors. There are views over the cottage garden. The room comes with a separate toilet and shower off the bedroom. The room also has a private entrance from the front verandah. It is our premium room suitable for that special occasion, or stays of more than one night.

Electric heating is also provided as well as electric blankets and premium linen and bedding. The room also features a 32″ Smart TV.

Note: There is a step up to gain access to this room from the verandah. Inside the room there are 2 steps down to the bathroom area. The heritage listed floor is flagstone and uneven in places. This room is not suitable for mobility impaired guests or people who are unsteady on their feet.
